In the Airport of Dar Es Salaam, the project provided for a new layout, and the fitting out by means of customised furniture of the interior and patio of the Air Tanzania business lounge .
The project reflects on a new way of experiencing waiting, reinventing the value of comfort for contemporary travellers.
On the inside, an embracing atmosphere is recreated through the use of green onyx slabs on the walls, sand-coloured serpentine marble for the floors and entrance, wooden ceilings, leather armchairs and woven straw furniture, as well as dim, soft lighting.
Outside, on the patio, the project is designed as a manicured outdoor garden with loungers, tropical plants, and local fabrics that temper the African sun.
