Tonale

The apartment undergoing renovation is located on the fifth floor of a condominium in Borgo Trento, a neighborhood not far from the historic center of Verona. Its valuable triple exposure made it possible to redefine the interior layout, ensuring natural light in every room, now arranged according to new patterns and needs.

The entrance to the apartment is a compact space, almost compressed and lowered compared to the rest of the home, designed in contrast with the area that follows. A mirrored wall directs the gaze toward the large living area, composed of a lounge, dining space, equipped island, and a kitchen recessed into a niche. The new open space is shaped by furnishing volumes that articulate the environment and define its functions through plays of light, shadow, and reflection.

The light wood flooring, which warms the entire apartment, extends vertically to become built-in cabinetry and boiserie, while large white fabric curtains filter the light from the windows. Within this soft and luminous space, materials of contrasting textures find their place — such as a raw concrete column, a steel and glass table, and black leather chairs.

The sense of cohesion that defines the project is the result of meticulous coordination between architectural, technical, material, and chromatic elements.

In this space suspended between light and matter, every detail finds its voice in a silent harmony. It tells a story of balance, contrast, and subtle vibrations.
